It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Kenneth Kanott of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James and Stella Wilnoty Kanott; and his sister Flora Mae Smith. He is survived by: his nephews, Will Smith (Tina), Charles Smith and Ralph Smith Jr.; and his niece Charlotte Rogers (Steve). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
