He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Smith and Geneva Johnson Smith; and his siblings, Edgarita "Sis" Ensley (Charlie), Mary Ensley and Ray Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cher Smith and Myra Smith; his grandson Trae Bradley (Kelsi); his great grandchildren, Eli and Levi Bradley; and his son-in-law Chickie (Tee Trejo). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with honorary daughter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
