Virginia Lee Saunooke Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Saunooke of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Bradley and Martha Sneed Bradley; her sister Patsy Bradley Smith; and her grandparents, Manco, Rosebud Sneed, Joe and Callie Bradley.

She is survived by: her children, Teague "Brad" Parker of Cherokee, Kirk Saunooke of Cherokee and Gerena Parker of Sylva; her adoptive son Bradley Parker of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Chelsea Dennis Prindiville (Mickey) of Sylva, Lynsey Hicks of Atlanta, Georgia and Michael Bernhisel of Cherokee; her sister Lois Queen (Bill) of Titusville; and her caregivers, Lisa Taylor and Barbara Jones. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family requests that the wearing of masks because of covid restrictions is preferred.
