She was predeceased by: her siblings, Annabell Cucumber, Arnessa Wilnoty, Ammons Littlejohn and Johnson Lee Littlejohn (late John Adam Squirrel). She is survived by: her children, Charlene Mejorado, Angela Squirrel and Joseph Smith (Cherry); her great grandchild Little Joe Smith; her sisters, Laura Saunooke of Robbinsville and Betty Locust of Cherokee; and also Merritt Youngdeer. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (1181 Wolfetown Rd, Cherokee, NC 28719). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
