He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Matthew and Bessie Mae Mauney; and his siblings, Pete Mauney (Doris), Jim Mauney, Frank Mauney (Lucille), Margie Homesley (Don), Tom Mauney and John Mauney.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Howell Mauney; his daughters, Joy Mauney Peterson (Mark) and Karen Mauney Prevatte (Brian); his grandchildren, Kayla McKenzie Prevatte, Ryan Wesley Peterson, William Britt "Will" Prevatte and Erik Scott Peterson; and his sisters-in-law, Melba McSwain, Carolyn Custer and Evelyn Mauney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
