He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Earl and Patricia Smith Jones. He is survived by: his wife Annette Dellinger Jones; his sons, Jesse Jones (Jennifer) of Taylorsville and Travis Jones (Dana) of Cherryville; his sister Lavon Richard (Dayton) of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Abigail Jones, Missy, Mikey Brown, Axel Jones, Adalynn and Brayden Drewery.
