She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Lemuel Self, Sr. and Pansy Hartman Self; her brother Lester "Bud" Self, Jr. (Janet); her niece Susie Jenkins; and her brother-in-law Bob Carpenter.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Second Baptist Church (201 N Houser St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
