He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Plonk Beam; his children, Shannon Beam Morris (Drew) and David Marion Beam II; and his granddaughters, Audrey Ellen Morris Mehl (Nathan), Sarah Elizabeth Morris and Ella Mintz Beam.
