Franklin Shaw Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franklin Shaw (Cherryville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Dee and Nina Farrior Shaw; his wife Diana Kurtz Shaw; his sisters, Christine Shaw Koonce and Olive Ann Shaw Downing; and his son-in-law Jim Rosengrant.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Shaw Rosengrant of Boiling Springs and Curt Shaw of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Rosengrant, Emma Shaw and Ethan Shaw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (107 W Academy St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
