She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Lee and Virginia Brooks Schrone; her husband Gene Anthony; and her sister Thelma Heavner. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Turner (Butch) and Michelle Anthony; her sisters, Shirley McDowell and Dorothy Swanson; and her grandchildren, Kaley Lewis, Kade Lewis, Dalton Allen and Matthew Allen.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
