He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Willard Morrison and Catherine Johnson; and his wife Betsy Sigmon Morrison. He is survived by: his son Jerry Morrison of Cherryville; his sister Helen Wright of Hickory; his stepsiblings, Shea Rhodes of Charleston, Bill Johnson of Hickory and Al Johnson of Hickory; and his siblings-in-law, Carroll Lingerfelt of Vale, Melvin Isenhour and Becky Sigmon of Matthews.
