She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ormand Sistare and Margaret Reid Sistare. She is survived by: her husband Frank Morehead; her daughters, Jessica Dover (Josh) of Ellenboro and Jennifer Allen (Wes) of Shelby; her siblings, Susie Howard of Gastonia, Joy Dellinger of Cherryville and John Sistare of Cherryville; and her grandchildren, Desmond, Kole, Alice, Emma and Hugh.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cherryville Country Club (200 Club Dr, Cherryville, NC 28021).
