She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred A. Parker and Edna Wright Parker; her husband John R. Smith, Sr.; her daughter Teddy Grigg; her grandchildren, Dwayne Grigg and Angela Smith; and her sister Waynell Thornburg Price.
She is survived by: her son John R. Smith, Jr. (Cindy); her granddaughters, Crystal Smith and Karrie Cash (David); her son-in-law Kenneth Grigg; and her sister Donna Scronce (Ray). She is also survived by five great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
