He was predeceased by: his parents, Burgan L. Grigg and Elizabeth Wood Grigg; his son Daniel Grigg; and his siblings, Evelyn Newton, Garland, Boyd, Billy and Hugh.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Costner Grigg; his son Shane Grigg (Kathryn Shaw) of Belmont; his grandson Mason Dennis; and his brother Carmie Grigg of Shelby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (310 W Church St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
