He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hines (Beth), Teresa Hines Gardo (Brent) and Greg Hines; his grandchildren, Wayne Hines, Matthew Hines (Evangeline), Sarah Hines Doski (Peshwar) and Tracy Gardo; his great grandchildren, Rue Doski and Ellie Hines; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Gantt and Jerry Gantt (Lisa).
