She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ernest and Mamie Sitton Johnson; and her sisters, Linda Smith and Millicent Oliver. She is survived by: her children, Gina Johns (Marty) and Mike Pence (Lisa); her boyfriend Randy Peel; her grandchildren, Shenna Stansell, Steven Johnson, Ryan Pence (Kassie) and Dalton Pence; her great grandchild Odin Crouse; and her sister Irene Brotherton (Otis).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
