He is survived by: his wife Ann Reid; his sons, James Reid of Waynesville and Robert Reid (Tina) of Canton; his stepdaughters, Joyce Sanborn of Kansas, Karen Moss of Cherryville and Edith Reep of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Justine Reid, Jonathan Reid, Ashlie Reid, Josh Reid, Jeffrey Sanborn, Ashley VanNess, Carol Moss, Brandie Moss and Paul Reep. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
