She was predeceased by: her parents, J. V. Burris and Clarice Vauss Burris; and her brother Joseph. She is survived by: her siblings, Carl A. Burris (Gloria) of Ranlo, N. C., Dr. Barbara Neequaye of Charlotte, N. C. and Katherine McDowell of Stanley, N. C. She is also survived by great-great nephews and great-great nieces, one aunt, one uncle, many cousins, in-laws, and friends.
