It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose H. Grigg (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Rose shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rose farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father John Alvin Hicks, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Patsy Russell Hicks; her husband Charles D. Grigg; her son Alex Grigg of Shelby; and her siblings, John Hicks, III of Illinois, Lois Shuford of Shelby and Rebekah Lail of Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
