He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Cape and Nancy Laws Cape; his wife Nellie Riddle Cape; and his brother William Wade Cape. He is survived by: his son Mike Cape (Dawn); his grandsons, Jared Cape (Robin) of Casar and Jordan Cape (Amy) of Casar; and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Savannah, Roxy, Bree, Madison and Gage.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery (7929 NC-10, Vale, NC 28168). A reception was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
