He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Stubb" Homesley and Vernell Quinn Homesley; and his brother Eddy Joe Homesley. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Ormand Homesley; his son Samuel; his daughter-in-law Isabelle Homesley of Atlanta, Georgia; his granddaughters, Amelia Homesley and Elizabeth Homesley; and his sister Donna Stamey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
