She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Bennett Heafner, Sr. and Peggy Gantt Heafner; her husband Leroy "Popeye" Edwards; her son Jason K. Beam; and her brother Benny Heafner.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Tommy Edwards (Cheryl) of Laurens, SC; her stepson Chad Edwards; her nephews, William and Benji Heafner; her sister-in-law Gloria Heafner; her nieces, Cheyenne and Savannah Heafner; and her friends, Paul, Carol Cornwell and Phyllis Whitesides.
