She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar "Bud" Blanton and Margaret Poovey Blanton. She is survived by : her husband Joe Dismukes; her children, Tim Dismukes (Noelle) of Greenville, NC and Pam Dismukes Nixon (Kent) of Belmont; her grandchildren, George, Charlie, Grayson Dismukes and Ella Smith; her sisters, Susan Oliver (Jim) of Mooresville and Donna Lail (Steve) of Lincolnton; her niece Katie Earman (Will); her nephews, Brad Canipe (Melissa) and Chris Lail; and her caregiver Regina Clewell.
