He was predeceased by: his parents, Sewell Jewel Greene and Mattie Mae Patterson Greene; his former wife Mildred Self Greene; and his sister Libby Thrift. He is survived by: his wife Helen Brittain Greene; his sons, Randy Greene (Betty) of Fallston, Greg Brittain (Nocona) of Fallston and Richard Brittain (Sarah) of Fallston; and his siblings, Danny Greene of Shelby, Candy Lovelace of Ellenboro and Patsy Hayes of Shelby. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090).
