He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Paul and Ruth Mullins Ellis; and his daughter Monica Lilia Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Maria Sistare Ellis; his children, Steven Paul Ellis, Jr. of Schertz, TX, Crystal Ellis Warner (Ben) of Belmont, NC and Jessica Danielle Ellis of Cherryville; his siblings, Randy Ellis (Renee) of Dallas, NC and Sheila Miles (Doug) of Memphis, TN; and his grandchildren, Ashley Kathryn Ellis of Melbourne, FL, Emilia Monica Ellis of Schertz, TX and Pyper Argelia England of Belmont, NC..
