She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Smith Jr.; her parents, Arthur Johnson and Juanita Johnson; her parents-in-law, Albert Smith Sr. and Patricia Smith; her son-in-law Dan Merrill; and her pet Hercules.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ashley Merrill and Dana Smith; her grandchildren, LeiLanni DeLano, Mason Merrill and Bobby "Riley" Perkins; and her pet Jelly. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, bonus children, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Wendie's name, reflecting her love for her furry companions.
