He was predeceased by : his parents, William Warren Wallace, Sr. (Preacher) of Cherryville and Clara Delle Beam Wallace of Cherryville; and his grandparents, Henry Lee and Odelle Beam. He is survived by : his wife Dianne Vandiver Wallace; his siblings, Ronald C. Wallace, Robert L. Wallace, Sr. and Susan W. Atkinson (Neal); his daughters, Cindy Clark (Robby), Wendi Beam (Carl), Nancy Pierce (Ben), Dede Adams (Tony) and Machelle Thomas; and his extended family Dianne. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the First Wesleyan Church (800 N Pink St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at the Mary's Grove Community Church Cemetery (1223 Marys Grove Church Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
