She was predeceased by : her parents, Weldon L. Wall and Willie Marie Chapman Wall; her husband William G. Reid; and her siblings, Samuel, Joyce and Clara Jean.

She is survived by : her children, Bill R. Reid (Belinda), Mike Reid (Kim), Pamela Hooks (Tommy) and Jana Funderburk; and her sister Louise Shive. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
