She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyle Newton and Stella Newton; her siblings, Cecil (Betty), Vernon, Herman, Bobby (Vivian), Richard (Betty Jo) and Lorene Rash (Paul); her niece Judy Stonestreet; her great-niece Carol Stonestreet; her great grandchild Kelsey White; her in-laws, Margaret and Marvin Lipe; and her sister-in-law Peggy.
She is survived by: her sister Ruby Isehower; her sisters-in-law, Joan and Barbara; her sibling's children, Sandra Dawn Lipe, Todd Lipe (Marsha) and Jason Lipe (Shanna); her grandchildren, Alexandra (Timothy), Dixie, Kamie, Bryce, Maddie, Jonas Cooper and Wendy; her great grandchild Kayla (David); her grandchildren, Cody (Emily), Lexie, Tiffany and Jeremy; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Emmett and William; Connie and Jasper. She is also survived by family members and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cavin-Cook Chapel (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
