He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Paul Hanson and Alta Marie Hambel Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Elaine Jarvis Hanson; his children, Gregory Keith Hanson (Wendy) of Indian Land, SC and Kristi Vickers (Shawn) of Ludowici, GA; his grandchildren, Destiny Jo Freeland, Gabriel Shawn Vickers and Benjamin Gage Vickers; his great grandchildren, Asher Cole Freeland, Aubrey Raine Freeland and Amber Skye Freeland; and his brothers, Richard Leroy Hanson and Charles David Hanson.
A reception was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home (1420 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
