He is survived by: his former wife Joy Watford; his grandchildren, Noah Flowers and Haley Epperly; his son Shawn Gainey (Wendy); and his siblings, Gena Johnson (Richard), Carolyn Oneal, Sherry McGee (James), Louis Watford, Jr. (Pam) and Kathy Campbell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
