He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alexander Clayton and Mary Kathleen Lipe Clayton; and his brother Gary Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Clayton; and his niece Alicia Kennedy. He is also survived by two great-nieces; two great-nephews; and four great-great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home (1420 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home Northcrest Chapel (1420 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Moriah Lutheran Church (750 Mt Moriah Church Rd, China Grove, NC 28023).
