She was predeceased by: her husband Marks Hoyt Freeze; her parents, Luther McCamey and Mary Agnes Davis Overcash; her siblings, Brown, Homer Overcash, Helen Overcash Smith, Juanita Overcash Ayers and Barbara Overcash Bradshaw; and her nephew Jerry Wayne Overcash.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Francis Overcash Echerd (Frankie) of China Grove; her daughter Joan Freeze Small (David); her grandchildren, Kirsten Small and Christian Small of Cary; and her nieces and nephews, Susie Smith Beaver of Bahama, JoAnn Overcash Lucas, Kathy Ayers Morgan of China Grove, Sharon Echerd Edwards of China Grove, Mary Jane Ayers Measmer of China Grove, Debra Bradshaw of Indian Trail, John Overcash of Georgia, Davey Overcash of Terrell, Steve Echerd of China Grove, Tony Bradshaw of Lenoir and Tim Bradshaw of Wingate. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
