It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Marie Russell of China Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Thompson; her husband Don Ray Russell; her son William Ray Russell; her brother Bobby Thompson; her nephew Kevin Thompson; and her friend Harold Richard Harrington.
She is survived by: her stepson Jeffery Russell (Libby); her nieces, Sabetha Upright (Tim) and Pam Troutman; her half-sister Robin Rudick; her stepmother Doris Thompson; her sisters-in-law, Betsy Thompson and Peggy Adams; her nephews, Steve Thompson (Jenny), Kim Thompson and Scott Adams (Kristy); her grandchildren, Jeffery Russell (Christina) and Lynn Russell; and her friend Shannon Weddington. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
