He was predeceased by: his father Walter Frank Wright, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Frances Johns Hendershot; his daughters, Kristy Sellers (Darrell) and Kaewmanee Wright; and his siblings, Patricia McCoy (Barry), Walter Wright, Jr. and David Wright. He is also survived by two grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Chapel (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
