We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2023, at the age of 81, Hubert Reed Simmons of China Grove, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hubert Reed Simmons to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cicero Simmons and Annie Bell Dennis Simmons; his wife Joyce Lee Sipes Simmons; and his sisters, Louise "Sis" Sturm and Margaret Simpson.

He is survived by : his sons, Eric Simmons (H. R. Simmons), Michael Simmons (Judy) and Hubert "Reed" Simmons, Jr. (Renee). He is also survived by his six grandchildren and his nine great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Hubert's memory to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
