She was predeceased by : her parents, James Webster Nall and Mildred Magaleen Garrett Nall; her daughter Danita Dee Powell Litaker; and her granddaughter Heather Nichole Litaker. She is survived by : her husband Lee K Powell; her son Chadwick Lee Powell (Chris Powell); her grandchildren, Ashland Nichole Powell Safrit, Blake Litaker and Malana Litaker Hitt; and her great grandchild Brantley Bailey.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mount Hope Church, 7004 Old Concord Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.
