It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Scott Overcash of China Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Faye Starnes Merkt and Harold Arthur Overcash (Stamie) of Salisbury; his grandparents, Herbert, Nettie Overcash, Sawyer and Kathleen Starnes; his son Matthew Overcash (Tiffany); his sister Sharon Overcash Freeze (John) of Harrisburg, NC; his nephew Ian Freeze; and his niece Jasey Freeze.
