She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Mitchell and Marie Hensley Mitchell; her son Scott Staton; and her siblings, James Frank Mitchell, Bill Mitchell, Ted Mitchell, Walter Mitchell and Norma Lewis (Henry).
She is survived by : her grandchildren, Albert, Joyce Edwards (Pete), Elavon Mitchell and Joan Mitchell; her husband Terry McCreary; her son Steve Staton (Erma) of Marion, N. C.; her brothers, Rev. Don Mitchell (Sue) of Marion, N. C. and Johnny Steven Mitchell (Shelia); her daughters, Keshia Sequola and Crystal Fox of China Grove, N. C.; her grandchildren, Avery, Austin Staton, Christian Burton, Phoenix, Makya Crooks, Mariah and Eli Fox; and her sister-in-law Doris Mitchell (Shirley Mitchell).
