With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Carolyn Wright of China Grove, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Bland and Ruby Bland; and her son Michael Perry of Burlington. She is survived by: her husband Rickey Wright; her children, Rickey Wright (Melissa) of Mt. Pleasant and Cassie Wright Roberts (Nile) of Cary; her sister Gail Porter (David); her grandchildren, Colin Wright, Genevieve Wright, Victoria "Tori" Roberts and Marrok Roberts; her nieces and nephews, Leslie Foster (Mike), Christy Sutton and Amy Lilly (Dave); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric, Jennie Foster, Cameron Sutton and Nathan Lilly; her close friend Carolyn; and also Cindy Perry of Graham.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Bethel Wesleyan Church (4036 Old Salisbury-Concord Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
