She was predeceased by: her father Ditzo McLaughlin; her husband Raymond Sutton; and her grandson Seth Sutton. She is survived by: her children, Shelia Sutton Whitehead (Don) of Clyde, NC and Keith Sutton (Christiane) of China Grove, NC; her granddaughters, Amy Monday (Steve) of China Grove, NC, Megan Flanagan (Pete) of Knoxville, TN and Kristen Decker (Matthew) of Huntersville, NC; her great grandchildren, Samantha Monday, Lachlan Flanagan and Lenora Flanagan; and her sister Clara Turrentine of Boone, NC..
