She was predeceased by: her children, Cherry Lynn Greene and William Johnson Jr.; her parents, James Martin and Ivy Martin; and her siblings, Gracie Wynn, Francis Denton, Big Boy and Bit.
She is survived by: her husband William Johnson Sr.; and her sons, Kenneth "Sam" Johnson (Donna) and Theadore Johnson (Rebecca). She is also survived by grandchildren and 14 cherished great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
