She is survived by: her children, Rodney Kenan of Greensboro, NC, Tameka Kenan and Norman (Raheen) of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren, Jabril Kenan of Austin, TX and Darren Norman of Greenville, NC; her great grandchild Umi Kenan of Austin, TX; her sisters, Beverly Grady and Rosalind Simpson of Castle Hayne, NC; her aunt Loretta Grady of Castle Hayne, NC; her uncle Oliver Barge of Bridgeport, Connecticut; and her cousins, George Grady of Castle Hayne, NC and Edythe Brown of Chinquapin, NC.
