He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Lee Arnold and Lucy Elks Arnold of Grimesland; his wife June Toler Arnold; his siblings, William Arnold, Doris Wall and Marie Frizelle; his niece Georgia Wainwright; and his nephew Charlie Toler.
He is survived by: his brother Bobby Arnold of Raleigh; his sister-in-law Mary Helen Barwick of Vanceboro; his nieces and nephews, Willie Toler (Elaine), Jerry Arnold (Gloria), Laura Lee Honbarrier (John), Debbie Audilet, Cheryl Lee Noe (Hilton), Jan Elizabeth Fletcher, Lou Barnard, Selena Arnold and Denise Kirk; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Blake, Charley Toler, Carlee, Sarah Ray Honbarrier, Margaret, Laura, Barwick, Baird Audilet, Jackie Sutton, Jesi Kirk, Alexis Staples, LeAnne and Beth Noe; his caregivers, Megan McLawhorn, Angie Ramsey and Ray; and his friend Ray.
