He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ayers and Louise Reese Ayers; and his wife Ethel Mae Gardner. He is survived by: his children, Jasper Ayers, Jr. (Teressa) of Chocowinity, Debbie Spain of Chocowinity, Joseph Ayers (Tina) of Chocowinity and Deloris Ayers of Chocowinity; his grandchildren, Curt, Lee, Kristen, Jasmine, Jessica, Josh, Walter, Hailey, Tyler, Jake, Graham, Noah and Delaney; and his son Johnny Ayers. He is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren.
