We announce the death of Michael Dale Williams of Chocowinity, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 49. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Roy Lee Williams. He is survived by: his mother Linda J. Hardison of Washington; his son Jeffery Meadows of Aurora; and his siblings, Debbie Meekins (Gene) of Washington, Gay Whitaker of Washington and Lee Williams of Blounts Creek. He is also survived by three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (2516 W 5th St, Washington, NC 27889). A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
