We announce the death of Philip B. Elks of Chocowinity, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 73. Philip will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Elks and Reatha Paramore Elks; his daughter Stephanie Elks Clark; and his siblings, Tessie Hudson and Jessie Elks.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Brittany Cannon; his great grandchild Tara Lumia; and his siblings, Mary Woolard (Carlos) and Eugene Elks (Maxilyn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and close friends.
