We announce the death of Richard Russell Watson of Chocowinity, North Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Raymond Watson and Esther Helena Buyze. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Carol LaNoue; his children, Christopher Paul Watson (Dannielle Crawford) of Dryden, Elizabeth Ann Pysz (Jim) of Oakland Township and Julie Lynn Watson (James Loughran) of Clearwater; and his grandchildren, Josh, Jennifer, Angelica, Mitchell, Veronica and Christopher.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home - Washington (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
