It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hubert Warren of Claremont, North Carolina, who passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hubert Warren, Sr. and Virginia Marie Shook Gilbert; his sister Barbara Jean "Jeannie" Gilbert; his nephew Benjamin Quade Dockey; his stepfather Farrell Ray "Poss" Gilbert; and his parents-in-law, John Edwin Carpenter (BoxCar) and Ruby Lee Isenhour Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Carpenter Warren; his daughter Angie Warren Sigmon (Rick) of Claremont; his sister Pat Setzer (Donny) of Newton; his grandchildren, Jeana Sigmon Link (Ryan) and Jonathan Warren Sigmon (Maria); and his great grandchildren, Brady Thomas Link, Tanner Lee Link, Bonnie Lee Sigmon and Beckham Warren Sigmon.
