She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Hill and Callie Veree Redman Hill; her stepgrandson Matthew Holbrook; and her brothers, Fred Hill and Rick Hill.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Griffey Jr.; her stepdaughter Vickie Smith (Jesse) of Statesville; her siblings, Brenda Starnes Ferrell of Augusta, GA, Sandi H. Bean of Maiden, Kathy H. Drum (Glenn) of Newton, William "Bill" A. Hill of Catawba, Robert E. Hill (Laura) of Hickory, Mitchell D. Hill (Sherry) of Catawba and Steve O. Hill (Allison) of Granite Falls; and her sisters-in-law, Debbie Hill of Catawba and Patsy Hill of Conover.
